My name is Rachel Potter. I grew up in Los Angeles, California in a small town by Pasadena. I love to sing, swim, and work with others. Traveling is one of my favorite activities; I love to see new places, people, and cultures. However, I also love spending my vacations at the beaches in California and going back to where I grew up.

5 years ago, I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Elementary Education. Upon graduation, I started teaching here at Mountain Avenue Elementary and have been teaching first grade ever since. I love working here and being a part of the community that surrounds the school.
I am very excited to work with you this school year. I know we will have so much fun learning together!
